Victor Osborne, a FIT graduate in women’s wear, and Zachary Barnett, an industrial design student, met and became instant friends. 6 months later, the friendship evolved into a heady partnership and the two opened the Victor Osborne Atelier in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Custom hats are their specialty, with toppers created for some of fashion's most directional ready-to-wear runways such as Sue Stemp, Trovata, and more. With such an eye for detail, the duo will be hard to top. Select styles available at the shop by calling 614.291.3600. Available online for purchase beginning Friday 4.3.09.
jinny, a new women’s contemporary destination founded by L.A. fashion industry transplant Jin H Fillinger, marked its launch on August 19, 2006 in the heart of the artsy Short North neighborhood of Downtown Columbus, OH.
Directed by a desire to inspire her fashion sensibility, Jin decided to develop her own contemporary women’s shop in the hip and growing Downtown market to satiate the style appetites of fashion curious women and to dedicate an outlet for their contemporary fashion enthusiasm.
Providing a highly edited seasonal collection of emerging and established upper crust designers of apparel, accessories and footwear, as well as one-off limited edition and vintage treasures to satisfy the growing appetite of local fashionistas for trend-driven merchandise, jinny caters to women aged 25-54 who “follow fashion and crave contemporary” says Jin. “Opening this shop is my dream come true,” she says. “Columbus is a young and growing city and the timing couldn’t be more perfect for the launch of our boutique concept.”
The vibrant 1,200 sq. ft. shop, located at 844 N. High St., houses more than 50 lines from around the world and this country’s most fashionable destinations.
